homemade exhaust header/midpipe

want to try something different instead of a el cheapo exhaust from ali. member bernawanfr found a guy that makes homemade systems right out of his house. reputation is solid. bernawanfr will make contact and find out logistics. gotta keep it wild.

budget decent shock swap

can’t go wrong with progressive. have you priced a replacement shock for the newgen? it can be a eye opener. i got this one on amazon. the B means black body. its a pita with stock airbox. no room!

Yes I do not know. But I did call them about buying a full system. They don’t make them anymore for the new generation ninja. Your best bet is to get a tyga from Thailand, has the best bang for the buck. I have one on order and danno xyz currently uses on. I also did a thread on el cheapo exhaust which is cheaper but not as good quality as Tyga
http://tyga-performance.com/index.ph...2_1045_791_859
you will not find a full system any cheaper

Which brands would that be? Area P is pretty much completely out of U.S. Ninja 250 market due to lack of volume. These bikes aren't as popular here for as long as bigger bikes. In foreign markets, the 250 was much, much more popular. People kept them longer and did lots more mods to them. Other than simple bolt-ons, more extensive mods will be coming from foreign suppliers.

Any serious mods with serious performance gains will require some sort of machining, milling and welding type operation.

It wouldn't have to be for a 250. A company puts out its specs and the manufacturer builds the product to spec.

installed red bikes carbs in godzilla after rebuild/deep clean by dannoxyz(many thanks)
he found pregen needles somehow had made in there. anyways everything is shipshape and after slight mixture adjustment all in normal. bike runs great. just for kicks i will leave carbs swapped on red and green.(red had greens carbs and vice versa)mods are starting to wind down as bike is near complete. also went back to inline mini filter at carb inlet. might do some hyperlites running light in the future and brake lines. many of the mods were budget based.now its time to enjoy it.

i've been wanting to get some aux lights for mine, maybe mount them low on the forks...
stoked about our ride friday. waiting on moto shop to open to hopefully order a tire. i may still have to take you up on your offer on green bike. 99% sure i can get the tire i want by tomorrow. if not i could almost certainly source a different brand int he same size, since ya know, i gotta have it. lol i love my pilot roads, but a different tire is better than no tire right?!
looks like i'll be hitting the dragon on a heavy, stock suspension, un-balanced ninja 650. the seat is bigger, but oddly, at 6 foot 2, i find the smaller sized 250 to be more comfortable than the larger 650..

i used to run shinko, then switched to sport touring tires, noticed MASSIVE change for the good in wet/rainy weather. and about about 40% longer tread life. cost more, but to me it is worth it. i ran the stock IRC's on the 250 for a bit, no grip, helped that the tires was 2009 vintage. lol
