2007 Ninja 250 Rx2n replica wiring diagram
Hi,
I recently crashed my ninja 250 and was fixing it up with a few ebay parts, I found a rx2n replica on ebay and needed help wiring it up. Here's what I got so far Gray wire is for right turn signal Green is for left turn signal Brown and blue/red is for oil light Easter green and brown is for neutral light Blue/red and black/yellow is for high beam Black is for tachometer White/yellow, Black/yellow and brown is for temperature Heres my confusion the rx2n uses a pink wire for the temperature gauge however its digital of course but my temp gauge on the pre gen ninja 250 is analog will it work on the rx2n gauge? My next question the tach has 3 wires black, black/yellow and brown which one is going to main power on the tach signal and what is the brown wire for? Is it for ground because I thought black/yellow is. Thirdly the dash has a function for the speedometer to set the circumference what unit of measurement is it in and what circumstance do I use? The wheel circumference or the brake rotor where i saw a guy on YouTube use a epoxy glue magnet to his rotor for his wheel speed sensor to pick it up. Finally Can the 5 wires for gears be wired up or does my bike need to have a gear sensor first? Hi and Welcome!
Best bet on wiring is to search for wiring-diagram of 2007 bike and the rx2n replica itself (may not have same wire colours as real rx2n). For circumference, it's typically in mm and is measured by rolling bike through one wheel-revolution: 1. line up front-wheel with valve-stem at bottom. 2. make mark on ground under stem. 3. hop on bike and roll it forward one revolution until stem is at bottom again. 4. make mark on ground under stem. 5. measure distance between 2 marks. |

Use one coil signal wire. Factory tach uses the left/black wire.
Set "RPM impulse menu" to #1 = 4C-2P. Then signal-impulse = LO. |

Yes I got a new headlight and crimped both the ends on bullet knife connectors then put then on both plug in for high beam and low beam and when the headlight turned super bright on initial start up on my ninja 250 I realized that yellow/red was not high beam it was low beam. I switched the two and it turned out better now i just need to find a place to add the led light strip
