09 Ninja 250 Track Bike

One of the lightest, best handling ninja's around. Buy this bike and your friends will hate you. It has passed many, many supermotos at kart tracks and inline4's and big tracks (in A group). It is so easy to handle, it just inspires the confidence to push it hard. Not hard, easy. :-)

I'm focusing on racing an SV650 this year, so I don't plan to ride my ninja anytime soon.

$2900. I don't need to sell it, but I'd rather somebody kick ass on it than leave it stored.

I bought this bike a couple years ago with front wheel/forks/fairing damage. It had 1600 miles on it. It looked like new except the damage.

The list of cool stuff:
Haybusa forks(gold ones with the TiNi coating) with gold valves installed
06/07 GSXR rear shock with shortened aluminum dogbones
Suspension professionally setup for 185# rider
Yoydyne super quick turn throttle
320mm rotor, SRAD 600 caliper, sv650 master, SS line
Chopped frame and RS125 tail
Woodcraft rearsets with a 1st gen sv650 shift pedal - this makes the shifter concentric to the peg, instead of that annoying pivot right where your foot wants to be.
2 bros carbon slip-on
Removed all street wiring from the harness. Super small 4-cell race battery. Literally every wire on this bike is right under the tank.
K&N Pod filter, & K&N crankcase air filter
Vortex clip-ons
Tires are in very good shape. 003 RacingStreet 140 rear, racing 003 120 front.

The list of colorful stuff:
I ground off the fairing mounts on the gas tank and tapped over them. Duct tape sticks perfectly to leathers.
I repaired a small hole in the radiator with JB Weld. It has not leaked a drop since.
It's been down a couple times. Gas tank has a bit of a dent that could use some bondo.
Tail isn't painted, obviously.
Comes with a mountain-bike-frame kick stand.

Needs nothing. Come get it and hit the track.

I didn't measure that. The busa forks are close to the stock height, but have less offset. This increases trail. To reduce the trail to be more track-worthy, I shortened the dogbones by almost 1/2". Plus, the GSXR shock was slighly shorter than stock, so the shorter dogbones helped raise the rear back up.

Same steerer tube diameter, I just reused ninja bearings. The hard part is that they dont fit inside bodywork.
