i'm thinking about thses instead of the clip-ons, just because i've heard a few people say that the clip-ons touch either the tank or upper plastics. also I use my bike to ride to work most days in the summer (about an hour) so i was thinking this might be a good comprimise between stock and the clip-ons for comfort on long rides.

properly adjusted, they shouldn't touch if you get the kit specifically for our bikes.
