which aluminum heat tape do you use?

me and friend are looking to buy some tape because his bike (GSX) is missing the original tape that used to go under the gas tank and the ones on my ninja are about to fall off. Is there any specific brand or type of tape I should be looking for?

I've looked online and it seems to be the brands advertised for automotive uses are double the price of normal heat resistant aluminum tape but have the same rating as the normal type used for construction.

Is there a difference I'm missing out on that makes it so much more?

Thanks for the bump @Alex. I hate bumping my own threads.

Looks like we'll be testing out the hardware stuff since it seems this is a problem no one has ever had before haha.

Necromancer update.

Me and a friend ended up using 3M almuinum heat from home depot and it worked great. You just need to make sure to thoroughly clean the surface of any old tape and then slowly apply it. Stands up to rain and hard weather too.
