What gloves are you sporting?
I have these expensive Alpinestar GP Pro gloves:
They are XL and seem to run on the small size. I've worn down the leather on the right palm and the stitching has come undone. I have retired those gloves and listed them on sale. Currently I wear the Camelback Impact CT gloves (Got them when I was in the Army) until I get another pair. Looking to picking up the Teknic SMT gloves: A review said they were probably tailored after a guy with fat fingers and palm.

I have the Awesome "Knox handroids" + "Olympia Sports C4 Thermolite Gloves Liner"
I "Had" the Teknic lightning gloves, "best gloves for the price" the knox sliders saved my hands from being unusable. I love this thing but i upgraded to the knox handroids I also "had" the teknic chicane street gloves, it's a short glove, and after reading about people losing their hands cause of injury I decided to get a full gauntlet gloves (My teknic lightnings) I used this loves like 5 - 6 times. And I'm never gonna use it again. Only full gauntlets for me. |

I don't have any gloves yet, but then again I'm still accumulating all my gear as I haven't been able to take my MSF course yet either, so for the time being my bike is sitting in the garage as I refuse to ride till i have gear and the course.
That said I've had my eye on the Teknic Xcellerators for a few weeks, just haven't pulled the trigger on em yet. Its either gonna be those or the Handroid Pods.

RevIt SLR Gauntlet gloves. I love them. Super soft and while they dont vent that much, I rarely feel like they get too hot even with the sun beating down on them. |

I love my Sp-2 Alpinestars...love the perf, great protection, and cheap enough for a beginner to get, I'll have these until I deem them unsafe.

Shift Racing Vertex. My first pair. I have tried many others from my friends and dad but nothing compares.
Carbon fiber on knuckles, middle and ring finger. great protection with Thick and durable yet un-cumbersome construction on the fingers and palm. lightweight and dextrous. They breathe like crazy as well. not ideal for really cold weather. the only issue with construction is the stylistic stitching frays after a while slightly in wear points but only the ends of threads not in critical joining points. The wrist protection is also lacking compared to a full blown race glove (no hard points in wrist just leather and extra padding) def great for the street though In all these are amazing first gloves with ample protection and for less than $100 bucks why not? Plus they are freaking cool... |

Held Air Stream. Best summer glove out there imho. Flows a ton of air; ceramic abrasion resistance on palm, wrist and pinkie; kangaroo leather; reinforced pinkie; kevlar lined, no external seams, etc.

Power Trip TT gloves. I think I payed $40 for them, not too proud of that. They aren't the best gloves in the world. I just bought them for the MSF really. Honestly, I could have saved forty bucks and just use my mom's garden gloves. Anyway, they're tearing apart already after 5 days of use (entire msf course). The leather is fine, but the inside stitching is wearing out already. maybe its cuz i was death gripping lol |

Expensive gloves don't wear out like yours. Held gloves were mentioned, well worth there price. Olympia glove co. (not clothing co.) are best bang for buck over the years for me. Heard said kangaroo is the best but nothings worth those prices, they're actually too much and only good in cold possibly? I'll pay for that one eh.

I also recommend the Teknic Xcellerator gloves. I've been lucky enough not to crash in them but defiently seem more protective than the crappy short gloves I did lowside in and broke my metacarpal back in June.

Cortech GX Air 2s Yes, they're cheap and not that great. I didn't know any better at the time I bought them though and am getting better ones soon. And for less than $20, they are better than nothing. |

Cortech Accelerator 2
Will be replaced soon with Rev'it SLR gauntlet as shown by Setasai. I love the design and look of the Knox Handroid but the price is more then I can currently afford. Hopefully by this time next wear I will have a set. |

I really like the bridged 3rd and 4th finger designs of A-stars, haven't owned anything from them before though.
Was thinking of either a pair of their GP Pro or pair of GPX next season. Any opinions on them? |

I put in an order for A*s SMX-2 Air Carbons. They had them in CycleGear in my size, but not in the colour I wanted, and they said they should be able to have them for me tomorrow.

Yeah, it's a hit and miss with A*. I can't really see myself buying their gloves again.
Well my Teknic SMT glove came in today and the reviews are correct. These gloves run a size smaller than advertise and probably used a guy with sausage fingers and meat cleaver hands! Up for sale if anyone is interested. The thumb section is really long.
