I've been wanting to get one of those. Do you have to retune the motor when you put one of these on? Won't it run lean?

Umm.. yeah... thats a guy question.. lol! I dont know how to do any of that stuff.. so i sure hope not!! It says on their website you dont have to do anything to it, since its a slip on..but i dont know much about the long term effects.. etc.. If anyone has any info on that, i would like to know that as well!

since you are eliminating back pressure even though its just a slip on it will take in more air causing it to run a little lean I guess. From what everyone has told me these bikes run lean from the factory, shimming your needles even with a slip on is suggested (from what Ive been told) Ill be shimming my needles and removing my snorkel soon.

MEH!!

haha I dont know.. Im hoping not to much longer. Id like to be riding again by the end of the month. I figured i should do it in the winter, but the weather has been so nice it sucks not riding it. :/

SOO paint Im hoping next weekend (Friday if possible) then I can put it back together Saturday and shim the needles and remove the snorkel I will at least be able to ride it.

Powder coating the wheels and getting decals idk... waiting on some funds to afford new tires as well. I dont want to just put the stock tires back on my newly powder coated wheels! so I might just roll around on an all black bike with green passenger pegs... hahaha

#4 washer, easily found at Home Depot or Lowes; probably any hardware store really.

Thanks for that tip. I was having a problem removing my seat because I was sliding it forward instead of backwards. The DIY didn't mention that.
