Also, we are doing a Korean BBQ potluck on friday night. Bring $10 to get in on the foody goodness! As far as food to bring I recommend like granola bars and simple sandwhich stuff. Bread. Cheese. Meat. Yay. Maybe a big bag or chips or cookies or something.

OK, today I flushed the radiator and added waterwetter, cleaned and waxed my chain. Putting OEM windshield on tomorrow. Only around 1500 miles on my Diablo Rosso II and oil change. What else should I do? What do they mean by "safety wiring"?
Oh and I got the GoPro; where's the best mount: side of helmet or behindwindshield???

Don't worry about safety wiring - that's a pain in the butt and not required for your average track day. As far as final bike prep you will need to tape off your headlights and tail lights (use painter's tape like the blue stuff (there are other colors too) because it comes off easily and doesn't leave a residue) as well as either taping up or removing your mirrors and license plate. Turn signals too! It's also a good idea to remove the fuses for your headlight/tail light/turn signals/ horn. Other than that it sounds like your bike is good to go!

The best GoPro mount is debatable. TrackDaz requires that the camera be safety wired to your bike. I can do that for you in a couple of minutes. I have mounts on my tail section to face behind me as well as on the front of the bike on top of my windscreen to face me and towards the bottom of the windscreen to just face forward. I've also placed a mount on my swing arm to get some cool shots of me dragging knee. You and I can go over it at the track if you want and find the best place. Are you arriving friday morning?

It's a good idea have something extra hold the oil drain bolt and oil filer. Safety wire is the best but not practical for the occasional Trackday. It's a mess when someone's spills oil all over the track... yes it does happen.

The second best thing is Red RTV Silicone and it's available at most auto stores. Just smear some on your drain and filter bolts for some extra peace of mind.

Is everybody ready? Do you have all of your gear??? How new are you tires looking? Do you need to change your oil or do your chain? Anybody staying for the races? Do you have a back protector and stuff to wear under your suit. Moisture wicking "heat out" gear from cycle gear or underarmor or champion work out gear or the like? I suggest long sleeve and long pants!! IS EVERYBODY READY? WHEN ARE YOU ALL ARRIVING?
