What up, what up??

What's goin on, everybody? My name's Tony. As I'm sure you can tell, I'm new here. I've been lurking around, collecting info, and finally made an account.

I recently picked up a 2009 Ninja 250r that's in need of some serious restoration but it should be nice when it's done. It's amongst three projects happening right now so things will be slow but I'm sure I'll make a build thread once I get settled in here.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Here's the Ninja as she sits now. Not much to look at but hopefully I can slowly get her done. I have a couple other, bigger projects going so progress will be slow on this one.

The plan is to get it as stock as I can. Do a little sprocket upgrade, 15/45, for a little higher top speed/ lower rpm's on the highway. And paint it white with a Rockstar Energy theme to go along with my Monster Suzuki and Redbull CBR.

^^^The Honda is about to undergo some changes. Paint and a new rear fender (my fat butt cracked it when I bottomed out the bike lol) new tail light. Just minor things.

The Ninja on the other hand... Needs lots of work as I'm sure you can see. I need to get a frame with a title to start with then it needs all the plastics, a seat, right handlebar, brake lever and master cylinder, triple tree top and ignition switch, tires, brakes, exhaust, OH and it needs to run lmao. I'm not getting fuel or spark so I need to replace the plugs and figure out what I'm doing wrong with the fuel lines. I have a diagram of the routing but I'm still getting it wrong somehow.

Soooo I can't get the bike to even pop. I've got spark and I've at least got starter fluid in the cylinders and no luck. Spark and fuel but still nada.

Possible that it jumped timing? I'm not really sure what else it could be. It might be noteworthy that the ignition was hacked off and a toggle switch put, badly, in its place. If needed I can post pics of said hack job.

Ok so I haven't been on in a while. I started a new job and have been really busy working. But I finally got a chance to toy around with the Ninja.

And all I can say is ugh...

It miiiight be headed to the junkyard.
