New Massachusetts Rider and Ninja Owner

I completed the rider course and bought my first bike two weeks ago. It is a 2004 250cc Ninja. I am hooked. Just saying hello, and looking for advice. Currently that advice could be about the fact that I am replacing the springs in the front end, must I do the rear shock too? Any thoughts?

Sorry, I forgot to answer your question. That answer is maybe, maybe not. There are sooooooo..... many factors that go into suspension. You want to "balance" your suspension both front and rear at the same time. So if you have planned mods to the front, best plan for an adjustment to the rear as well, not matter if it is minor or large. I have said many times before and will always say... suspension is the absolute best mod you could ever do to a bike, as long as it fits to the rider's preferences and or abilities.

Where abouts in Massachusetts are you? I'm down on the south shore. Stay safe out there, lots of tourism this time of year here and they of course cannot drive.

Welcome!

Why are you replacing the front springs? What's wrong with them?
