GSXR crash?

Link to original page on YouTube.

I think not paying attention and then grabbing a hand full of front brake caused this?

Could barely catch what happened, looks like he was perhaps trying to play catch up to his friends and before he knew it was front to ass to the car in front of him with no where to go. Might have thought he could pass on the inside then tried to switch lanes before realizing he was to close. I was more concerned with why the people didn't help him to the side to lay down.

Hard to tell for sure, but it looks like too much front brake applied too abruptly.

I think the people on scene did an excellent job of helping the guy out. It seems the reason they didn't get him to the side of the road to lay down was because of his leg. It was best for him to just be set down where he was. Other people were directing traffic away from them. He was lucky to have so many bystanders willing to help him and take care of him until professional help arrived.

Jump to 6:57. They discuss what happened. The biker who was filming the whole thing said that the driver in front suddenly braked. Because the supersport rider was too close to the car he clearly panicked when this happened and grabbed a big handful of front brake.

Did he? Or did his tire hit the Nissan and lock up? I've watched it over and over again and I can't tell. It would be nice for a close up of the cars bumper.....

Ok... I re-watched it. I'm not so sure now. Could be either.

I've been searching news the last 10 minutes trying to find any shred of this in an accident report or article.

My google fu is failing me today.

I don't feel leaving him stand up and keeping him there would be good for him at all. Why do you think your always told to stay still after an incident.

I kept replaying the portion that shows him going down. It looked like he was in the other lane right before coming into the back of the left lane vehicle and then all you see is the rear go up.

Go to YouTube and read the comments about the half naked crackhead (with a liquor bottle in her back pocket) directing traffic! Hilarious!

I only watched for the crash, plus no audio, so didn't get the portion where it was a stolen bike.

How do we know it was stolen?
Pickaxe & missing key?

I liked the half naked lady directing traffic & yelling at the cars! Hilarious

I spent the opening/crash portion trying to figure out what was blinking on the camera guy's dash. I wasn't even looking at the stuff off to the left.

I think he left his left signal on, even after making a lane change to the right. Not a good idea.

I was expecting something to happen to the him (looks like a R3 though).
