Now, anyone have experience with yellow visors for night riding?
That was the exact same reason why I got one. Figured $20 isn't too bad. Kinda wish I wouldn't have gotten it though. I got a pink mirrored visor. Just taking it out of the package and putting it on, I got a lot of finger prints all over it. With the pink one, the finger print marks leave purple blotches on the visor. You can kind of see them in this photo on the top of the visor. I didn't leave it on for too long cause it seemed too high maintenance for me, just to keep it clean. Plus, my intentions were to buy the Scorpion Fiore helmet and use this visor with that helmet, but I didn't end up getting it. It doesn't really match with my current one.

I want some kind of mirrored film that I can still see through which I can cut into triangular reflective eyes for a shaded shield without making it "double shaded" right where I need to see through. Perhaps it would be best to start with a clear shield and then add tint everywhere but where the eyes go. Why? Look up "Captain Falcon" and you'll see.

What's more is his BLUE FALCON racing hovercraft! I want to do up the Candy Plasma Blue Ninja to look like it. The helmet thing will be more subtle.

I have the HJC IS-16 helmet. It's got a clear faceshield, but it's also got a tinted SunShield that you lower with a switch on the top and raise with a button. I really like it because there's no changing visors, no sunglasses, or anything like that. After a little practice, I can easily lower or raise it while riding, though I probably look a little funny, poking at the top of my head.

http://www.hjchelmets.com/prds_is16.htm

My only complaint is that it's not Snell, so I can't use it for SCCA autocross!
