Sold my Ninjette

Sold my Ninja last Saturday. Will miss the bike. Loved the way it handled and the power was enough for me. Gonna pay some of my student loan with the money. Not foreseeing a bike in the near future. I am doing lots of mountain biking thoug, so I'm still on 2 wheels.

I may stick around though. Love Ninjette!

What type of bike do u have? Hardtail? I have a late 90s Specialized Stumpjumper that I absolutely love. Running Shimano XT 9 speed.

Been looking for a new bike, maybe full suspension this time, but the geometry (rider triangle) just doesn't feel right for some reason when I compare it to my Stumpy.

I have a 2015 Rocky Mountain Soul. Hardtail. Love it. Move up to 27.5 wheels from 26. There are lots of new bikes that catch my eye, but Rocky Mountain has done a good job with the graphics too, that's a big one for me as well.

Was curious to see what happened to it. Here is what I found... Looks like someone laid it down.

Totaled from the crash? I wonder if you or someone else could buy it back for peanuts. My daughter did that with her car after another driver backed into her in a parking lot and did minor damage. It was at a time when she was low on money, and she cleared something like $1,200 in the deal.

He'll be back someday when conditions are favorable and he sees the right bike in a magazine, online or wizz past him.

IMHO...this motorcycle thing is a therapeutic addiction. Riding habits kept safe, sane, within logic...good for the soul.

I'll reveal my own personal saga...diagnosed with cancer (unable to ride) my one primary goal was to be able to ride again. I was determined to fight, beat the disease. My Doctors were supportive of the goal (within the medical path to wellness you've got to have a goal...hobbies, family, travel...whatever your "thing")

Two surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy...a little over a year later proclaimed cancer free, I was in my garage getting my comfy VFR prepped and out again.

I'll admit my first ride was emotional. I was in awe. I DID IT! I BEAT IT!
And realized I had missed a great part of my life....riding. I've done a few thou miles since...all 3 of my bikes operational, legal and ridden again!

Sorry for run-on and thread jack, but tried to stay on topic and to make a point...
you'll be back OP...someday you'll be back!
