DannoXYZ, dodgerdad, Thanks.
The vinyl forced me to paint it but I was pleased with the outcome.

Very nice color scheme and execution you've done. Tasteful and appropriate.

I'd like to bring you my 21 year old Honda VFR800 for revamp and detail, followed by my 25 year old Ducati. Both beginning to show their age. Ya got me thinkin', at least.

Looks Epic man! You did an incredible restore and I'm glad u decided to give the stock fairings and that. Did you get the engine from the second bike? What sort of mileage, is it running well?

FluxX, both engine's ran but not very well. I don't know the mileage on the '10, it didn't have a speedo. The '09 had a speedo from a 2012(it was marked on the back of if). I says 25k but I don't know how true that is but both engines ran good after I cleaned the carbs. I sold the 2009 engine to a buddy doing a custom gokart.

Sorry for the late reply.

Did you use factory colour code #234? Or just mixed your own?

It's a vinyl wrap. I was quoted $600-$800 to paint the fairings, that would have been more than the cost of the whole project.

They vinyl was only $50 bucks, so it was a no brainer.

It's Gloss Rosso Corsa (Ferrari) Red, I purchased 3x5ft to check the color out.

The color matches 95%, if you compare it closely you can tell it's a little off.

The vinyl job looks great from 5 feet, when you get close you can see a little bit of creasing. Over all I am very happy with how it came out.
