FI model - Need some help and information

Hello, I bought my '08 recently. Almost an year old, mileage was 1300 km. I will try to describe my worries and concerns.
So.... It is a FI model...when the engine is running, I can hear a sound ( like a high frequency sound ). It gets stronger when you approach the dash board , or if you open the tank cap. Most probably it's from the fuel pump, I presume it is normally for the FI models. The only guy with Ninja 250 'R, I met in Sofia, was a new owner like me and he wasn't familiar with his bike.
So far , so good. The really annoying starts in warm weather, and while the tank is exposed to direct sunlight. A sound appears... somewhere from the tank cap. Don't know how to describe it ...it is like a "whistle", or like the previous sound, but much more stronger. If I open the tank cap , an air gets out and it stops...till the next warming.
Can anyone tell me is that typical for the model, or it is about a problem with my new , second hand bike.

Please, excuse my English, I am a foreigner, we even do not use the same alphabet around.

The carb. model does the same thing.Seems Kawasaki did a poor job of venting the tank.

Not a problem it's air replacing the fuel some times louder than others.

The gas tank noise is very common, think of it as your bike talking to you I do

My FI model does it too - nothing to worry about - lots of threads about it on here and somewhere a mod to sort it if you find it irritating. I too like to think of it as my bike talking to me

Thank you guys... As I understand you Steve and Viper-Byte are FI model owners and you do hear the same , don't you ?

I mean ...this sound is really loud sometimes. It scared me, because I think that it might reflect to fuel injection pump problem.

Well, it's the beginning of the summer here.. It's getting hot.

And everyone around is going to ask me "what's the problem with your new bike" - no thanks
