Malibu 6-18-11

With it being such a wonderful day today we took the bikes out and headed to Malibu. This was sharons longest ride yet. Left at 10 am didnt get home till 6 pm The weather was perfect riding weather, sunny and cool. The bikes ran like a dream due to the perfect conditions. Hell at one point on the 101 between Oxnard and Malibu sharon got the ninjette over 90 lol. Well on to the bike pron

Sharon looking at me like "really dude? Cant we just ride wtf?"

But the best way to deal with that is to wait 5 seconds because like a typical girl it turns to "Oh look a bird". Guys shiny metal objects work here as well for future reference.

Wish I could have been there... unfortunately for me I am riding out the remainder of my 24 hr Regimental Duty Officer post... hopefully nothing else happens between now and 0800 before I get relieved... getting a little tired now.

Anyway, thanks for sharing and maybe next time I can join you guys

After the communicators dying, we come up to a light in Santa Monica. Jeff pulls along side and tells me that the road splits up ahead, with one lane staying on PCH and the other entering the freeway. He then says " I don't remember which is which so....good luck...and if you end up on the freeway, don't forget the throttle."

lol... so which did you end up on? Trust me... the 250 is more than capable of freeway riding.

lol we managed to stay on PCH but it was a near thing.

It's not that I don't think the 250 can't do the freeways, It's me I'm worried about.
The idea of trusting all those speedy folks to stay where they are supposed to at freeway speeds just kind of makes me nervous.
