Only reason you need 60fps is if your going to be doing slow mo, then it makes a big difference. The human eye (brain) can't interpret much more on the conscious level, that is why 29.9 fps is the standard.

for quick motion, I can easily tell the difference between 30 and 60fps. if something moves across the screen quickly, say for only 5 frames in 30fps, it will look chopped and you will see gaps between the motion of the object. if you aren't paying attention you wont notice it but if you are concerned with the quality of the video with fast motion, 60fps is the way to go.

like i said. if you care about video quality, its one thing. if you dont care about quality, it doesn't matter.

60 if you put the camera on a very vibraty part (handlebars), 30 everywhere else

@Jiggles I'll try that. I have a feeling that I'm probably gonna prefer the 720 at 60fps even with it mounted to my tank because I want it to look crystal clear and sharp on my tv. Haha. Btw, that cup holder you have....did you get it from Walmart? I seen one just like it the other day there for like $15 but wasn't sure if it would be good for fountain drinks from a fast food place.

Nope got the cupholder from amazon RAM mount. Try 1080 @ 30fps first and if you don't like it or its not smooth enough then switch, easier comparison

@Jiggles ok I'll have to check into that cup holder haha. And I'll check out that video when I get home and can pull it up on my tv screen. I'll be able to actually tell how good it looks that way cuz I'm still at work messing around on my iPad right now and the resolution on here isn't even close

Couldn't be sure sorry. All I know is that I can buy it from the US for far cheaper and as it is below AUD $1000 in value I wouldn't need to pay any tax to get it into Australia.
