Which brake modulator

Hello. I searched the forum and couldn't find the answer to my question. I have a 2014 ninja 300 and looking for a brake modulator. I am trying to decide between the back off modulator or the visitec supabrake 2 modulator. If anyone has heard about any of these two which one is the best and easiest to install? I thank you for your help.

The best brake modulators I have found are at the end of my right arm and leg?

Yeah. Lol. That is what I am doing now, while watching behind me to spot any cars coming up too fast. I am enjoying the motorcycle. I may try taking an advance motorcycle class in the future to learn more.

I like http://www.3rdbrakeflasher.com/brake...-flasher-c-65/. Cheap with a number of different settings to give you the exact operation you want.

The SB2 sounds like a pretty techy option, but it might end up being too smart for its own good. If its algorithms aren't perfect, it might not flash the lights exactly when you want it to.

The one I have, the company is no longer in business,

http://www.comagination.com/bflasher.htm

, but the Back-Off is a good unit.

Another one to look at is a unit called GEAR BRAKE, not only does it work as a modulator, but also senses if the bike slows under hard engine braking.

They also offer a standard one.

Link to original page on YouTube.

I haven't used either, but reading the instructions for each on their respective websites:
  • The SB2 is plug and play, using OEM style connectors.
  • The Back Off modulator requires cutting and soldering.
Soldering isn't hard, but plug and play is still easier. Plus you don't have to cut anything, so there should be zero lasting effects if you change products or opt to sell the bike in the distant future.

True. But sometimes you forget and having a consistent brake flash is really nice.
