TWO new Triumph café racers have been spotted testing near Barcelona in Spain.

Bearing similar looks to the Thruxton in Triumph’s current line-up, the spy shot shows that the new bike has an all-new 1100cc water-cooled parallel-twin engine expected to make around 90hp - 32hp more than the 865cc air-cooled twin in the Thruxton.

Internet reports suggest the new models could be called either the Street Tracker - a title trademarked by Triumph - or be a revival of the Speed Twin name.

Two versions of the bike were spotted: a standard model and what is likely to be the R model, featuring Ohlins front suspension straight off the Speed Triple R, adjustable Ohlins S36 twin shocks and four-pot radially mounted Brembo brakes. The higher-spec bike also comes with a single seat unit.

Both models will come with ABS as standard and are expected to be in production for 2016.
