300 Plastics and OEM parts

My bike was committed to the track from day 1, so when I low-sided in my second race, I didn't care too much about all those little-bitty pieces of OEM plastics. At least I thought I didn't. No one had track plastics yet, so I had to re-create the wheel and get a bunch of OEM stuff. Some from ebay, some from the Kawi promotional guys.

End result, I have my track plastics now, and have a bunch of parts, most are used with some scratches, some are brand new in the plastic bag.

I'm not trying to get rich from any of this, so if you see something you want/need pm me, and I'll shoot you a price.

I'm in north San Diego/La Costa area, so local buyers are preferred, but I guess I could try to ship it as well.

Bump. Was up in my attic last night, I have a ton of stuff for the 300, I probably have the only set of RED cowls for the 300 (I don't think they're available in north america), and some brand-new in the box parts, Including the hard-to-find black middle-fairing (left side only) thats been back-ordered for months. Tail sections, full OEM exhaust, rearsets, mirrors, etc. They're just camping in my attic so if you need something, let me know.

Cheers,
Joel

OK, just to update, I sold the left rearset and left mirror, but both rights are available. I also have two sets of OEM bellypan, and white front fairing, white L/S large fairing, the much-coveted left black middle fairing, and. . ..

the only set of RED plastics (that I'm a aware of, anyway), with front, both sides, and all tail pieces as well. These were originally from Kawi USA, so there is some markings on them that will probably rub off.

I think I'd rather sell the red set as a set, since its kinda unobtainium, but welcome to offers.

Also, I missed a few PM's, but I do have the kickstand and passenger pegs as well.

I'll post more pics as requested, but here's some of the red set I pulled out of the attic tonight (attached).

Actually, Major, if your friend is Joe, then he did finally buy them, so thanks.

I've had a bunch of requests and haven't been very organized about returning them, but tons of plastics and OEM parts still available.

Still have a bunch of fairings, headlight, full OEM exhaust (rashed), right mirror, kickstand, full set of red fairings including tail and fender, etc.

Someone still needs to return the right mirror that I sent incorrectly too. . . .

see post #12, supra. also, I have the tail pieces, and the belly pan, but only the L/S black mid-section. The red plastics have some marks on them, and are not exactly perfect, but they're pretty cool looking and different, I don't think they were released in N. American market.
PM me if you're interested, I'm in San Diego though.

Id take it even if the cover/ leather / vinyl is all ripped up...I am actually just needing/wanting the plastic part and hardware that attaches the seat to the bike. If it is still OK Im interested. Its for a project so it doesn't have to be perfect, just good enough to attach and stay on the bike.

The can was rashed from a lowside, I don't think it'd be worth it to ship across country, but its up to you. Attached are pics of the full OEM system. Can is definitely functional but scratched.

Was the exhaust picked up? Depending on how much you a looking for it, rashed is okay with me (mine's rashed anyway from dragging on the track and a lowside.)

Specifically the pipe itself, just wanting to swap out my stock 2012 pipe.

Responded, sheesh, this stuff is expensive to replace. It would probably be between 10-15k to replace every part on a $5k bike. crazy, their probably make more in post-sale OEM than they do on the original units.

Yes, I could definitely use some parts if available and look new! The whole right side of my bike needs fixing. The rear brake is broken, the fairings cracked, mirror gone.... Anything available let me know. I just post pics in the crash forum for reference of what I am looking for.

Sorry to hear of your get-off. I have a bunch of parts, but unfortunately do not have the right upper fairing in white (but I do have a whole set in red?) I sold the mirrors already, I think I have the right rearset though. Probably have the rear seat pieces as well, either in red, white or both. Let me know what your looking for and I can confirm if I have it or not.

I'm new to owning a bike, so I'm unfamiliar with the proper terms. Basically most of the plastic on the right side is scratched or cracked. The rear brake broke the piece it's attached to, the right turn signal up front is scratched, etc. I'm waiting on the quote from the dealer. I may just have them fix the mechanical and slowly get the parts of plastic I can afford along the way.

If the only 'mechanical' is the broken rearset (that the rear brake attaches to), then I think you should take this as a learning experience for yourself. For the most part, all I've seen of the damage is pretty simple bolt-off/bolt-on stuff, nothing internal.

The handlebar alignment is off from the wheel some too. Im not sure if its the forks or the handlebar is just bent. Hopefully by the weekend I will have an estimate from the dealership. I think moving forward I will get the rearset/brake pedal replaced, and the side mirror then slowly replace the plastics so eventually it can look like nothing ever happened.
