DIY high yield filler

fill with baking soda. (bicarbonate)

apply super glue. (cyanoacrylate)

don't use near/on cotton wool or leather as the reaction will start a fire.

a few drops of water in the baking soda first will make the reaction quicker but the heat may melt whatever you're filling.

this winds up being about as hard as cement but with much better surface bonding... bonds a bit better than superglue alone

Yep it's an old trick we guitarists use on worn guitar nuts. Fill the string slots with that and file back down to height. Hard as nails
