Almost camping season!
Anyone else love motorcycle camping?
I haven't camped with my Ninja yet, but I plan to a bunch this summer. I've done a lot of camping on my XT225 and my old F650GS...the little Ninja should work great for it. I'm pretty sure I can do a similar setup on my Ninja as I did with my XT here: The same saddlebags should work on the Ninja. Anyway, I'm just getting all hyped since it's starting to get warmer and I'm looking forward to camping. Would love to hear from like minded Ninjette owners.

I loved the "Top Gear" episode on camping.

Cool pic! My buddy and I are planning 1 or 2 camping trips this year on our 250's... I'm planning on some soft saddlebags unless I can get some small hard bags by then and easily mount. Looking forward to it.

LOL! I guess it could give off that impression based on those first pics. No, not a backyard, but the Iron Horse motorcycle lodge in NC. They have cabins to rent as well as land for camping out. There are usually quite a few other campers here too. It's such an incredibly great place to camp!

They have nice, clean and stocked showers plus they serve a DELICIOUS home-cooked breakfast and dinner. The prime rib dinner is to die for. It's a fun, laid back place with a main house w/ Air condition, a pool table, movies with a big screen, lounging in the lounge chairs, games, etc. We never want for anything while staying there!

I'd love to take the wife motorcycle camping... But I haven't figured out a way, to separate her from the blow dryer, curling iron, etc.... Went camping once in the Jeep, and I thought she was packing for Mars.
