EX250J ('08+) Front rim; also selling rear rim in an older thread
The finish is a marred in a few places from the idiot "helping" me with tire irons in 2009 but your rims will look even better than new if you strip and polish the lips anyway.
I just spent $70 plus a day's effort to prepare it so I gotta get at least $100. The rear rim is $120. I'll sell both for $200 + transport costs (local pickup available). Edit: Pics below! You can also call or text me at area code 858 then countdown Eight7S!x5Four3 then $ix. Last futzed with by CZroe; September 11th, 2011 at 06:24 PM. |

Bump for a good guy.
I saw the front rim the other day. These are a great deal. Stock new rims cost $500 each. Ask me how I know! Somebody scoop these up for your racebike or stuntbike or something. If I had the cash I'd be all over them. You can resell them on ebay for more probably if you had more time.

OK, the rims are FILTHY but I'm too tired to clean them up and I have to go to sleep after a grave shift and a huge sleep deficit after the events of the last several days, so I'll just throw these up anyway.
The "days effort" was really a LOT of effort: 2.5hrs ride from SD to Sierra Madre with it strapped to my backpack, raining when I started and baking hot and humid the rest of the day. Expected to leave it at the shop and go get my sprocket and come back, but the guy had to run to the hardware store and wanted to close up shop He finished the repair lightning fast but I had to run to the ATM and he was at risk of not getting to the hardware store in time. I came back and he had my stuff outside w/his shop locked up... but it wasn't ALL my stuff (jacket and contents). I had to wait hours. Bert's didn't have the sprocket I needed and Chaparral was pretty far away to have to go there, come back, and then go to Banning to install the sprocket and get a right rearset (thanks KC!). I still had to haul it to San Bernardino and then to Banning and back to SD so I ended up carrying it along with me from ~Noon to 12:30AM. That doesn't even count the morning of driving around town w/my sister's car when trying to find a place to do it in SD. To top it all off, I had a grave shift that I was supposed to start AT 12AM and obviously had not slept for. Edit: Added better pics after cleaning them up a bit. Because a few of you seem interested in the rear, it's there too. The rear is the only one with significant paint marring (idiot with a tire iron). You can see what we're dealing with in the third and sixth pics. Last futzed with by CZroe; September 11th, 2011 at 08:21 AM. |

I updated the pics in the earlier post. There are somne soap bubbles but I think you can tell them apart from the imprefections in the paint! Only the rear is significantly marred on the paint and it's mostly in one spot. If you care, I would suggest that you strip an polish like so many others with polished rim lips (looks NICE!).
I prefer to sell them together and I also prefer to do this locally but I'm still responding to you other guys in case you beat Dino, who is local. Also, I owe KC BIG TIME for getting me out of a situation Tueesday (stranded), so if he suddenly wants 'em, they gotta go to him! |
