Yoshi full exhaust or slip on?? Help!!

I want to get a full exhaust. But i heard you need to do other things to the bike to make it run right. Besides rejetting and raising the needles what wouldbi have to do? Is it hard? Would it be better just to go with a slip on? Please help. Want to order tomorrow.
