How many links do I reduce my chain if adding 15t front sprocket, stock rear?

I'm adding a vortex 15t front sprocket, keeping rear stock at 45t. So essentially adding 1 tooth to the setup

The chain I got is a DID 110 link, so since stock is 106, do I reduce it to 107 links or keep it stock 106 and just adjust rear tire to spec chain slack?

Plan on doing this tomorrow.

Also has if anyone has changed to a vortex 15t front, any shimming involved?Guess I'll find out tomorrow

thanks

Stock 106 is fine. One tooth is well within the adjust-ability of the tensioners. 15T is the first upgrade many people do and I've never seen people get a new chain with it unless it was time to swap anyway, which I'm guessing is your situation.

Thanks for clarifying.. after an hour of searching I've dug up some info regarding older 250's keeping stock chain links with a 15t, so I figured my 08 was safe to keep at 106. Yup my bike has 18500 on it and planned on just changing everything out. Rear sprocket was a bit worn.
