Someone call a surgeon, my bike needs one.
So I just low sided and my bike is wounded. The forks are bent and I've got cosmetic damage out the wazzo. I'm going to need to repair and/ or cover up so I figured I'd ask what you guys would do?
I'll probably repaint my exhaust pipes by myself but I don't think any of the custom paint is going to be fixed anytime soon. I may cover it up with stickers. my upper fairing is split and my windscreen is cracked. My front forks are bent and I'm not sure what would be the cheapest way to replace them. Should I go newgen or pregen? Help! |

Forget about repairing the damage; just replace those Dunlop tires !!

What tires do you suggest for the 16" wheelier?

If you contact the person who did the paint work on the fairing, they could go back over it, grid by grid and repaint. On the filler, try 3M Platinum. Worked for me and came out smooth with 600 grit.

Or recreate. Take a pen out and come up with an idea. It Is your ride. Take some of the ideas here, you will find it.

Maybe if my fairings get obliterated in the future I'll cut em up and make a mural with the pieces and turn it into a street fighter. ----------------- I think I'm going to buy some of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-Band-aid-s...item257645c009 But I don't know what color to choose. They do sell some "realistic" ones that might be funnier, but I don't know what to choose at this point. Maybe I should just wear those scars with pride? On the other hand, I readjusted my front forks and my bike handles great now! I'll need to bend one of my handle bars back into place but everything seems to be in working order. |

was able to reattach the front front fairing part that split, but it's still painful to look at . My handle bar bent, and I really don't want to buy another one. Any suggestion on how to bend it back into place? I Don't have money or room to buy and set up a table vice. I don't want to buy another bar, but other than bending it back that seems to be my only option right now.

Actually, I cleaned up the spot where the damage happened and my clear coat pen fixed most of the scratches.
I'm thinking I could fix all the damage with some touch up paint. Any idea what stores would have a wide selection of auto paint that could match mine? |

Just hit up all the local auto parts stores they usually have a decent selection.. Even Walmart carries some.. Worst case look into places that carry auto paint and body supplies u can usually get touch up mixes there

Hit up a local machine shop and they fixed my bar and an old bar I had from before and made them like brand new for only 25 dollars. Well, one of them isn't perfectly straight because it was pretty bent, but it'll be a backup if I ever screw it up.

I know this is late, but Pirelli Diablo Scooter tires all the way! Those things rock, and they're CHEAP. Great dry grip, and good wet grip as well.
BT45's are pretty grippy as well, but they gave me funny wear over fewer miles than I was expecting, YMMV. |

Wish I could figure out how to remove the reflector by itself from the reflector body. even the plastic holding my reflectors is painted
Bike is pretty much all back together, just need to find someone or somewhere to get the nut that holds the windscreen bolt in. Put it on my bike anyways for now Thanks @rabies. |
