Thanks...
For all those that didnt pay any attention to the listing... These plates are used to block off and remove the air induction system (AIS) which is used to burn unburned exhaust gases by injecting fresh air (secondary air) into the exhaust port, reducing the emission of hydrocarbons. Once these plates are installed the air injection system can be safely removed. These Smog Block Off Plates are CNC'ed from 3/8 inch thick 6061 T-6 billet aluminum and each kit contains all the necessary parts (One block off plates, a vacuum cap and instructions) needed to remove the AIS from any bike listed below. The main reason of removing the AIS is to get an accurate Air:Fuel (A/F) ratio when dynoing the bike. The air injection system pumps fresh air directly into the exhaust stream in order to burn off any unused fuel. Unfortunately by doing this the A/F ratio is thrown off by the extra "fresh air" in the exhaust stream. By removing the air injection system you can achieve an accurate A/F ratio. This kit also works well for racing/track day bikes because it removes all unnecessary equipment from your bike for reduced weight and ease of maintenance. Make sure to remove the screws and reed valves that are located under the stock caps to allow the new plates to make a full and tight seal. |

I capped mine with a $.59 bolt, some rtv sealant, and a zip tie.
Total cost =$ .61 Similar to this: And this is by far the easiest & cheapest way!
