Can you remove some of the detail, make it a bit more cartoony so it stands out well

prayers for our brother

Just joined the forum and started riding only a couple of weeks ago, so I don't know Alex other than a few posts (room mate dropping bike...), but am praying hard for a miracle and full recovery.

Keep the faith and keep fighting!

My vote is on this one. I like the contrast, and it will stand out. People will ask about it, and we can relay the story, and it will possibly make an impact on cagers/riders alike.

EthioKnight, get better! Our prayers are out for you, and hope that you recover and can joke about this in the future!

This is the absolute worst. Why do some people have to suck so bad?

I have faith that he will make it, I fully believe this.

I hope others are not thinking that the decals are to "remember" Ethio, he hasn't gone anywhere. What I thought when someone suggested making some decals was that it was to sell them. I've seen decals, stickers, and T-shirts made to help out an injured rider. Aside from making donations these decals can be sold, the profit goes to him and his family for whatever they need. For us (for me), the decals (whatever design the ninjette community chooses) represent hope, the unity in us as riders to support someone who most of us (like me) have not even met.

Please everyone, keep praying. Let's help him get strong so when he looks on this site he can see everyone rooting for him, maybe even his fellow ninjette members rocking an Ethio inspired decal.

The stickers aren't just for remembering a fallen rider, but can also serve as a reminder to always wear your gear, or if people ask about it, you can tell them the story and maybe they will be more careful around motorcycles

Just bear in mind that multi color decals are expensive to make. Also, the more detail you try to cram into it, the harder it becomes to produce. I would stick with just the helmet and mohawk in a single color.

black and white outline or perhaps alex's favorite color? and not as 'detaily'. just rider suit, helmet, and chair. and what jiggles said. if not someone make a helmet and mohawk lets see it

Its really horrible that his happened to one of our own. I have a strong feeling that he will pull through. We could start a campaign to help him on the website below.

I think what needs to be done first is someone needs to help the family set up a paypal account to recieve donations. This way people can donate as soon as possible.

Then we can all search for a company that makes custom decals and note their prices for multi color and one solid color. THEN everyone can decide what image to use. It would be nice if someone took charge in ordering the decals, then was able to ship them out to members that bought them. Maybe someone that knows him and/or his family. The profit of course goes to Ethio and his family.

I realize we could all just individually send out an order for decals and rock em on our bikes. But the point is to help out the family, so the profit of selling the decals would help them, along with donations.

As for the sticker, I tend to think less is more. How about just a simple helmet with visor and red mowawk? I'm no graphic artist, but something akin to this?

make another thread for designs and such. I want to know his condition currently, not new designs for a sticker. (although its great everyone wants to help!) I think this thread should just be for support and updates about his condition.
