G'day from WA
G'day from Perth, Western Australia.
Picked up my first bike about 3 weeks ago for $650 AUD (approx. 470 USD), a 2010 Ninja 250. Spent a good solid week putting it back together and wasn't much wrong mechanically. Couple of minor scuffs here and there but she runs a treat! Although I have ridden motorbikes before on private land when I was younger, I decided to officially get my licence. Really like the way the bike was going aesthetically which made it that much more different to the other 250's out here. Looking forward to sharing my journey and learning from you all. Welcome Jan, the bike looks like fun! I run that same headlight on my first-gen, it's a nice piece. I was running those same bar-end mirrors too but had trouble keeping them in place when I would hit rough spots in the road - wound up going with conventional mirrors on the controls.

nice looking bike..... remember keep the dirty side down and the shiny side up and ride SMART ! and ride defensively, few riders die from crashing their bikes it is the bike that is hit by a 3,000lb car that kills you. get good at dodging ! LOL.... Bob.....
