Squid Sport Fishing

I was driving down US1 this afternoon, ready to merge into 1-95 North. (for those of you on the east coast, this is exit 0. It starts right there) I look up and see a squid getting ready to turn into traffic. This was a rather safety conscious squid(relatively) he opted for helmet, full sneakers (no flip flops) shorts and sleeves on his tee shirt. The very first thing he does, you know it pops a wheelie. He catches up to traffic, and this is where I get my brilliant idea.

Squid fishing thread! - Tournament Rules

1.You must have photo evidence.
2.Do not endanger yourself or others(don't chase squids let them come to you).
3.Must be original material(plenty of squid picks online, remember cheaters only hurt themselves)
4.No after pictures, nobody wants to see that. Preferably live squids only.
5.Squid must not know he is being stalked, don't want to encourage them.
6.Quality of catch is dependent on attire of squid, activity of squid, size of squid mobile(cc's), others (mods, locations, passengers)

The fabled "Blue Marlin" of Squids would be Tank top, flip flop, no helmet, hayabusa drag bike, doing stoppies in rush hour traffic, while transporting a midget dressed like a clown.

So without further a due, here is my personal entry.

Tee Shirt wearing, CBR 600, doing wheelie on interstate. This is a rather fine catch if I do say so myself.

Midget dressed as a clown - lol. What about a clown dressed as a midget, would that be possible. And how do you know a clown if its not dressed as a clown? Guess I will stick with your original midget dressed as a clown.

Here is my submission. The guy was on a nice Fiat replica R1 and had the Rossi Dreamtime helmet, but other than that this guy was a squid. He's got the required: t-shirt, no gloves, and of course flip flops. To top all of this off the guy even had a lower back tattoo . Didn't get a great picture, but maybe that is for the best.

Probably a full shield back tattoo dedicated to steveo of jackass. I'm just gonna say it what the **** goes through a squids mind.... hmmmmmmmmmm... I think today is a great day for flip flops.

If I see squids popping wheelies at every stop light I just shake my head. I had one flip their bike right in front of me. I had to stop and pick it up because his 125 pound frame couldn't do it. He said "man I don't know what happened" I just shook my head said nothing and got in the car and left. Btw he was wearing flip flops and a Tshirt.

Where is CC? I'm sure he will come to the defense of the squids. You know how he feels about helmets.

I don't have a picture but as I was approaching a stop sign today a squid (shirt, shorts, but he did have a helmet) turns onto the road I'm on and pops a wheelie right next to me to try to show me how bad ass he was.

Lots of Squids up here, but helmets are required by law in all provinces, so at the very least, our squids protect their melons.

Valid point, however, this person had a completely flat chest. That is why I labeled him a guy.

Greg, the island is full of squids pulling 100mph wheelies on 95. You should be able to get some good shots.

I have a German helmet

The closest so far was a 90 degree day last week. Guy in shorts and muscle shirt and girl on the back in shorts and bikini top, heading into Goddard Park. If I wasnt going back to work from lunch I would have circled back and got a pic.

Do Dr.'s and Lawyers riding Milwaukee type iron, dressed in combat boots wearing a doo rag or beanie count? Or is that fodder for another thread?

Just saying cuz there are more of them out here than the classic gxxrbusaR100000cati types.

LOL! I saw a group of those last weekend coming off of the freeway all red faced and tired looking. I don't know how they do it without a full face helmet.

I give thanks to my helmet every time a bug hits my face shield.

Goddard Park used to be our own little race track. The squirrel cops could never catch us. I have a good friend who lives down the point and we used to take the Porsches through there all the time.

I always thought that would make a fun (yet narrow) track. I take many rides through there at lunch. Now the squirrel copys drive electric cars, but one of them commutes on a CBR600 or 1000RR.

As a little kid I spent many summer days there. At age 10 (1974) I had my Elsinore MR50. I thought nothing was cooler than the CB750, 550 and 450 that guys used to ride around the park, except maybe the Kaw 2 stroke triples.

Just had a squid ride by my house a few minutes ago.... he was pretty well geared up, a light sweater, beanie, no flip flops though. Yeah, riding around a blue R6 with no helmet in ontario, that's genius. (Really wish i had a camera with me)

I saw a guy cruising down venice blvd the other day without a helmet, in loafers on some old harley. He must have just moved here from a state that doesn't require helmets.... Strangely enough, this is the third or fourth time I have seen a-hats doing this around good parts of Los Angeles...

New catch of the day, had to go 2 blocks out of my way to catch this beauty.

No helmet, no gloves, t-shirt, shorts, "rope and canvas sandals". Hayabusa (squids love em, I think they are f'ng hideous) snaking through cars at light. It's hard to tell from this image but what made this a winner was the guy had absolutely no hair. (not making fun of our follicle challenged members) This guy had NO hair, his head arms and legs were shaved, I swear I don't even think I saw eyebrows.

This here is large scale professional Squid fishing:

7 motorcyclists caught in 100-mph chase on I-75
Six Broward County men and one Miami resident are accused of riding their motorcycles at more than 100 mph on Interstate 75 to flee from police, The Naples Daily News reported.
Charged with aggravated fleeing to elude, a second-degree felony, were Peter Olliviere, 30, of Lauderdale Lakes; Juan Cueto, 53, of Miami; Joseph Peric, 28, of Plantation; Sadiki Stephenson, 27, of Margate; Phillip Cummings, 22, of North Lauderdale; Chad Farokhnia, 20, of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea; and Bradley Peric, 28, of Plantation.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the seven were spotted speeding about 7:50 a.m. Sunday near mile marker 90 in Collier County.
A trooper said she tried to stop the motorcyclists, but they fled into Lee County, to the north. A sheriff's helicopter and several patrol cars got involved before the men surrendered.

Oh South Florida bountiful land of the mighty squid.
