Bad Gas

Just yesterday I filled up my tank, went on a ride and shortly after I noticed my exhaust smells bad... baaaddd.

I know that wasn't happening till a few minutes after I filled up, is it possible to have "bad gas" in regards to motorcycles? I don't know what it could be but it is definately a new smell.

Water in the gas is always a possibility.

I had the same problem. Then I realized it was the beef jerky I ate while filling up.

What does it smell like? Rotten eggs or old varnish? Is it the gas itself or the exhaust? Get some seafoam and put a little in the tank, that will help stabilize the gas, it will also help remove any water contamination.

not quite rotten eggs, and I'm not sure what old varnish smells like. It was nasty though, it has dissipated a lot now, I'm assuming it was the gas I got
