Help plz!

I have a 99 ninja 250. The throttle is sticking on a new used carb I got. It's the throttle link on the carb that sticking. Is there a way to change out the spring in the link? On my old carb the throttle worked fine so is it possible to just switch the parts for the throttle?

Use real lube, not WD-40. Use penetrating oil, also lube cables while your in the neighborhood. Make sure all cables are routed properly.

So, from what you are saying, it even stick with the cables disconnected?
If you unhook the cables from the carb, will it return freely or stick? If it sticks in this situation, have a look to make sure the actuator is not bent and catching on anything.
If it does return freely, then it would be either the cables or the throttle tube. The cables are the most likely culprit, as they get older and wear, they don't run as free as when new. Then cable routing can be touchy to get right.
Good luck with it.

Sounds like you need to remove the carbs and find out why the throttle plates aren't closing properly.

I wouldn't ride it like that.
