Hey again,

glad to see you've got another bike, what kind is it? I don't know suziki's very well and it looks like it has been converted to a street fighter.

Nice front end conversion. The SV is a bike I've wanted for awhile. I would do the forks the same if I got one.

Congrats on the new bike!

Congrats! Now you know what torque is!

2005?

I bought one new in 2006, and just bought another as a project (2000 - 1st gen/carbed)

Thats pretty cool, that is not a stock front end either is it.

I would like one like that with full racing body work, it would be one hell of a track beast!

05, originally S. Gsxr 750 forks+ calipers, gsxr 1k wheel + rotors. Needs the speedo thing done and some dumb wiring crap sorted in the tail. Wish I had a garage, can't work outside in winter without losing fingers to frostbite. Otherwise I'd be done already.

Do I ever. My xmas gift was the maiden voyage on this guy. P sure you could see my grin from the ISS. I upshifted for the very first time and got back on the throttle the way I used to with the ninja...

How to wheelie:

ride a 650 twin or faster with the throttle hand you would use on a ninja 250

Started fixing some questionable choices the PO made.

before

during

after (not fully assembled, plate hinge isn't set yet)

why can't people do wiring properly -_-

oh also the front tire is 8 years old. Good one, PO

also also, the dowco guardian weatherall cover is AWESOME. Yeah it's pricy, but the thing is super sturdy. Weighs like 5 lb too. Shrugs off winter like it's nothing.

I like the dual exhaust pipes but single sided swing arms make me uncomfortable and the headlight is way low... front brake fluid reservoir is hangin out for the world to see and the mirrors look like teddy bear ears! I like it between the forks and the exhaust pipes. not a huge fan of the trellis frame though...

I'm picky....

I feel like if I rode a single sided swing arm bike I would have the placebo effect like it was constantly drifting to the left. they just make me squirm.

kawasaki got a little too low with the z1000 headlight... i am the ant king
