EX250JCF versus EX250JCFA
Can anyone tell me the difference between these models and which one I'm likely to have? I'm looking at part kits and I don't want to select the wrong one. Thanks.

Usually the A denotes one of the SE color schemes.

For some reason I was under the impression the A was the California edition.

Oh that makes sense. I forget when I check for parts. I just pick one and go with it haha.

Nope, I'm wrong.
Based on the BikeBandit parts diagram, the Fuel Evaporative System is on both the JCF and JCFA. Looking at their list, the big difference I can see is the color scheme of the cowlings and decals. I put in a 2012 which gives me... JBF/JCF are the standard colors of Ebony, Red, Candy Lime Green, Blue JBFA has either a white lower portion of the lower cowling or Lime green and ebony, JCFA has either a CA, US red and Black or Black lower part. At least that's all that I can see as the difference.

the difference between jcf, jbf, jcfa, etc are fairly minor. all the bolts are the same. the difference is mostly color and whether or not it has california emission controls. everything else is the same. so if you got the wrong size bolt, its not because you picked a jcf instead of a jbf or whatever.
