Teknic chicane leather jacket

I just picked up a teknic chicane leather jacket for a good price ,I think, today.
I searched the forums but didn't find a lot of opinions on it. Anybody got one? How do you like it? Has it held up well? Ever crash in it? Ever get attacked with a belt sander in it?

I also got a set of the chicane leather gloves, my first set of long gloves, my old ones were short. Same ?s

I bought them kind of spur of the moment at the vendor area at the motogp today without a lot of research. The last red/white one in the shop was my size so I jumped. Much lower price than mc superstore, much much lower than msrp.

Miss mine, should have bought one when they were on close out last year
Think theres a pic of mine in the "crashed" section < Both jacket and gloves held up nice.

MC superstore still listed them, one just like it was in stock. They may just be selling out the last of the inventory though.

That would explain why I got a good deal on it if it was a closeout/discontinued item. Doesn't really matter I guess. I got a leather jacket way cheaper than I otherwise could have, and it seems to be of decent quality so I am happy

They were going on close out because they were coming out with a new jacket. I'm actually going to purchase the new 2012 version. http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com...l.bok?no=12931

Ok, I'm not a happy rider right now. Damn motorcycle superstore sent me the wrong color (red). Errr.....and I realized I went a size too big (44). So, I'm sending the wrong one back today via UPS and I reordered the white one in the size 42. So hopefully it should arrive by the 1st, or atleast that's what they say.

So once the real jacket arrives I'll to a video and pics of it.

Thanks for hanging in there.

I just got one of the older styles in blue. I wanted either red or white/silver, but it was only $130 so I couldn't pass it up. I dont have any other jackets to compare it to, but it feels as good or better than most jackets I see in the stores.

Do they have back armor, or just elbows and shoulders? $130 is a steal with back armor, or foam that can be replaced. Great deal.

It has foam for the back and CE certified shoulder and elbow protectors. I may replace the back protector another day.

I so wanted it to be home when I went there for lunch, but it was not. It should be there when I get home from work at 4:30, but I have my office party this evening. I will try to snap some pics while the missus is getting ready.

LOl...Mine isn't here yet either, I think the mail services are backup with Cyber Monday shipments. They usually get to my house by 3 to 4pm...so I guess we'll have to wait.

YEAH!!! It's here guys and I'm loving it sooo much. This is such a great, high quality jacket, although the wrist zippers could be a little better, it is still super cool.

Here are some pics:

What's a "racing rear accommodation"???

Nice black Vampyre!! I figured the I wanted to be more visible with the red or white. How does the Chicane pants fit? Quality? Features? How it stacks up against competition?
