The following is an industry press release...
Ride for Kids motorcyclists in South Carolina and Texas raised more than $152,000 for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation on Oct. 12. More than 500 riders attended the events in Lexington and Fort Worth to honor our Stars, local children with brain tumors: Anna, Ashley, Aynsley, Benjamin, Cassandra, Gabrielle, Heather, Jerald, John, Justin, Kaylah, Keldon, Kieleigh, Liam, Nora, Rob, Summer, Travis and Valerie. Stars at the rides expressed their appreciation. “Thank you for coming out and supporting us. It means the world to us,” Anna told the Midlands riders. In Dallas-Fort Worth, Nora said, “I like showing up and showing people that you can survive it.” Dallas-Fort Worth Star Nora and her VIP escort are ready to take off from the Texas Motor Speedway. Making life better for Ride for Kids Stars is the reason motorcyclists across the country ride for the PBTF, which funds medical research and family support programs to help eliminate the challenges of childhood brain tumors. Read more about the rides here: Dallas-Fort Worth S.C. Midlands The event is still collecting donations online at www.rideforkids.org. Fundraisers will receive incentive credit through Nov. 12.
