Phone Mount?
Our 250s don't offer a whole lot of handle bar space - what do y'all recommend for a phone mount? links? pics?

Welcome to the board, Taylor.
For me, my jacket pocket is the best place for my phone while I'm moving. That way I can't take my eyes off what's going on to look at it. |

I think the best solution is a RAM X-Grip to hold the phone, with a ball that screws right into one of the unused mirror mounts on the Ninja's handlebars. I have mine set up that way, but I'm away from my bike right now so I can't show a picture of it. The X-Grips now come with an extra rubber thing that really secures your phone in it. Ask me how I know this is a good idea.
Here is the ball that fits the existing screw mount in the handlebars (the holes have plugs in them that you have to pop out).

thanks
Thanks all - I was hoping there would be some sort of "all in one" solution. The Ram Mounts seem highly rated, just a little thrown off that three separate parts are needed to complete the set-up.
I only use my phone for GPS (I am the opposite of a human compass), not trying to text or call... so I like to be able to find my way home after I've wandered too far. In the past I've just hand written the instruction on a piece of paper and taped that to my tank, but it is terrible placement, and heaven forbid I miss a turn. |

Of course we can all make our own decisions about things like this, but I had a bad outcome from looking in a mirror for a short time years ago, so I stop to look at my GPS/map app. I'd much rather lose a minute or two than repeat my mistake.

My son had one of these on his 2007 Ninjette.
https://www.amazon.com/Motorcycle-Ha...a+phone+holder I've been stealing it lately on my Sportster. Hasn't fallen off yet. |
