Please note - Our website prices on the Exhaust Systems are already discounted $100.00 from our suggested retail pricing. We then offer up to another $100.00 (if combined with a Jetkit/FI Micro Programmer for GB participants, along with the chance to have the exhaust system portion of the purchase refunded. The extra discount we are offering is very significant for us. We do not have "Vendors" for Area P Exhaust systems. We sell directly to the consumer.

I have you on the list. I see your profile lists a 2008 250 but we will need to know which system you're considering. Lemme know when you can and I will update the list with the system you would like to order.

Possibly, but I do not know for sure, maybe another member has that combination and can let us know for sure. Either way, I will forward your question to Kerry.

FYI to all, Area P is top notch and I still love my full kit some 3 years going strong.

Quote:
When we developed the High Mount Race System for the 250R, we tried to keep rearsets in mind as much as possible. But obviously could not compromise the design based solely on this. We looked at four different rearset manufactures specs at that time and all of them had different dimensions and adjustment capabilities; so nearly an impossible task... We have sold a large amount of systems for bikes with aftermarket rearsets. The system itself has some adjustability in that area. Also if necessary, making a small mod/dimple in the mid-pipe for clearance to the pivot pin on the brake pedal (normally the area of contact) can be done without any issues. We utilize highly annealed aircraft grade stainless steel and it is very malleable and forgiving. You can look at the close-up picture on our website page and try to compare - http://www.areapnolimits.com/images/...stem_2_big.jpg

Kerry Bryant - President
I also did some digging and found this thread that shows those rearsets with the standard mount exhaust. I couldn't find any pics with the high mount race model.

Note that the rearset in the pic is bent.

Hope that helps.

i have the bohemian rearsets that did originally have an issue with touching the pipe.

As Kerry suggested some small dimpling will fix the issue and not compromise the system at all, but, for me it's too damn beautiful to dimple. I was able to slide the mid pipe back enough to make just enough clearance for the rear set so that there were no issues.

Work with Kerry if what you find here doesn't help - he's highly knowledgeable and very helpful. Great customer service and great products at Area P.

Last year after a long wait and several delays the exhaust for the 300 finally released. Several buyers for the 300 group buy dropped out due to the wait and in the end only nine buyers were left.

AreaP could have put out a system before it was really ready and maybe gained a few extra customers early on, but they didn't. Probably because they didn't want to release a product that wasn't up to their standards. I believe that getting the EFI tuned just right was the cause of the delays. In the end it was worth it and I wouldn't trade my exhaust for any other.

The original stipulation for the 300 group buy last year stated that ten participants were needed to issue a free exhaust. In the end even though there were only nine sold a winner for a free exhaust was still chosen. I don't know of one other company out there that would do that. Especially for our bikes.

Please sign me up for the above system. I've been holding out, but I believe I will have this bike for quite a bit, so why not make it better.

Is there anyway to pay now? As I want this out of my budget to not confuse it with available funds.

Been hoping for awhile to get another ninja, and get an area p system for it (loved it on my 250).
Looks like I will be finally getting a bike tomorrow ('13 300) but will miss the group buy by a few days.. As I won't be able to afford it till 9th or week after.

If you don't get 10, any chance extending it a week or 2?

Keep asking, but unless you can find something used you'll have to make your own. No aftermarket company has made exhausts for the pre-gens for more than a few years now.

I believe these have been out of production for a while now. I was a customer of the last group buy AreaP did for pregen systems about 2yrs ago. If memory serves me correctly, they had just enough parts to build 8 systems. You might want to contact AreaP directly to see if they have acquired one over the years or on rare occasions they show up in the used markets, ebay and craigslist.

See here and the full thread here.

Shipping to India?

Hi, i'm interested in buying the Standard Mount System - standard muffler carbon fiber for the 2014 Ninja 300 along with Fuel Moto FI Prog and "Slanted A" mount. As per the website, the total cost would be $850, what would it be after discount and approx. shipping. I'm from Mumbai, India and if this can be shipped over, i can ask fellow Ninja owners here if they would also like to go for this.

Many Thanks!

With $100 discount applied for the exhaust system and programmer, price would be $749.90, plus approximately $115 for shipping. Not sure why you would require fellow Ninja owners approval to participate? Worldwide participation is open to all ninjette.org members.
