Back from the Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson AFB!
Been wanting to visit this place for a while and finally a few of my friends and I headed up and had a great time! Three full hangers full of our aviation history from the Wright Brothers to the unmanned drones.
Very cool! p.s. Did see a guy who had to be mid to late 60's riding a Hayabusa. |

Yeah and free admission. You can't beat that nowadays. They were in the running for a Space Shuttle but got snubbed by NASA.

Looks like an awesome museum! My favorite aviation museum I have been to is the National Air and Space Museum at the Dulles International Airport. Love that they have the Enola Gay, Concorde, SR-71, and a bunch of other historical aircraft in one giant hanger.

Bingo! Good eye!
We went mainly to see the B-58. One crashed in 1966 a few counties away and one of my best friends this year has been raising funds for a memorial. The memorial just met its funding! There is still a need for upkeep. http://b58memorial.com/B-58_Memorial/Welcome.html |
