Oops

So I was fallowing my friends on a spirited romp through the mountains when a puff of smoke and lots of heat fallowed. The little bolt holding the coolant line disappeared and the coolant line blew off the water pump. The bike was getting warmer then the temp dropped and all seemed ok. Until the I stopped moving then the bike just stopped. No air flow motor got real hot. I was towed home and I tried to start the bike once it was cool. She fired over and would rev up fine. So i have lots of checking and testing to do now. I hope I got lucky.

I do love the bike. My good friend has always thought little of the 250's until this weekend. He rode her and saw how much fun I was having. He also saw I was keeping up with him on his 145hp bike. He is fast and I am not bad. You can really rail these little bikes. He now is talking about finding a 08 or newer.

Bolted the coolant line back in filled her up. She ran good all works. What a tough little motor.
