what if it came as a bolt-on kit? frame, swing arm, shock and seat unit with lights and you throw the 250 motor, carbs, forks, tank, wheels and electrical on?

Looks sweet to me. So many of these one of kind cafe racers look good. I saw one with a beer can as the rear brake reservoir lol. Alas I lack the funds and or technical skills to create one

Still probably no but honestly for no other reason than for a bike with ergonomics like that I will likely only use on the track. And I think I would rather have some wind protection, aero, and whatnot.

on topic, i would probably be better off buying a frame and making the engine work in it. I feel like i could design a frame, getting it built on the other hand... not so much.

what don't you think you can do? i thought you had a full shop? if you want one and can create detailed dimension drawings i can do the bends and cuts for you and you can weld it together
