I do the 2 fingers down as well for '2 wheels on the ground.' I get some waves from harley riders too, but barely. Also rode up next to a sheriff on his cycle the other day and got a wave, thought that was pretty cool.

I've noticed that while going down country roads people in trucks wave.

I get little children waving at me. It always brings a smile to my face and I always wave back.

Am I doing it wrong if I actually do a peace sign, instead of the "two fingers down" thing?

Nah. I even nod when I'm stopping and holding on to the clutch and when turning.

What makes you a loser by waving? A wave is just a friendly greeting whether walking, riding or driving. Some of us get our kicks all three ways. My favorite ways, other than walking, are red/black.

lol! I really don't know. It's just what I think. lol. I wouldn't wave from a cage because I'd feel cheesy...not a motorcycle wave anyway. But if I pull up beside one at a redlight, well sure.
