Rear light problem?
If anyone could give me some advice on this, it'd be great. My tail lamp stays off for some reason even though it's plugged in correctly. However, when using either brake, it will turn on. I'm not sure as to why. Usually (correct me if i'm wrong) it's supposed to stay on the entire time the bike is running and just brighten under braking. Everything seems to be connected properly :s

It's a dual filament bulb. If the filament isn't burned out/broken then you have a wiring/poor contact issue.

Aren't there two filaments inside the bulb? One element is lit at all times, and the second one is energized only when pressing the brake. I know this is the case for car brake lights, but I can't recall if it was true for this bike as well.

get a new bulb, but go brand name like Phillips or ge. the vibration of these bikes kills bulbs, especially the cheap ones.
and if that doesn't work, buy an R6 |
