South West and Central West PA riders

There are a few PA ride threads, one Pittsburgh and one South West but both of those places are a little far from where I am so I decided to make a thread that includes both those and a little more area to encourage anyone out in the middle of no where like myself to feel included.

Figure this undefined region encompasses Down to South West corner, North up to around Butler, East to about State College then South down to the Boarder around Ship and Chambersburg then obviously West back to the corner. Fairly large area, lets try and coax some of these PA ninjette riders out of the woodwork.


Potential ride first weekend in August with @Dano around Ohio Pyle area give or take. Perhaps he can fill in some of the details.



P.S. feel free to post meeting up for dirt rides here as well. If you can transport your dirtbike lets ride for free all over the place where I live lots of different terrain as well. Come on down!!

Wish I had a dirt bike!!! Well I have a small loop I ride sometimes that goes up from Donegal over to Ohio Pyle and then we can drop down to Deep Creek MD on a nice road and back.. I am open to any rides as long as I am Free for the day.

It will take me ~ an hour to get to Greensburg area and back from there as well. Normally time is not an issue but my wife just had twins not to long ago so it is tough for me to get away for to long with out someone being around to help her out. Like I said mornings work best for me cuz the twins are well behaved in the AM and easier to handle by yourself and she won't get to mad at me for leaving her all alone

If I get moving in the early AM I can get closer to you pretty early and would have enough time for a decent ride and time to get back before hell breaks loose.

Weather has been like fall time here last few weeks. Mornings in the 40's, highs in the 60's. Makes it feel like the riding season is coming to an end, crazy.

I still haven't had a chance to go on any good leisure rides since I moved back to PA and again feel like time is running out. I am planning on doing a decent ride Mid Sept or so before it gets chilly and the leaves really start to drop for anyone that might be interested. No defined route yet, will be pretty flexible.
