09 Front fender on Pre Gen?
I was thinking of putting the new front fender off the 09+ 250r's on my Pre Gen...How hard do you think it would be? And how differnet are the forks/wheels from the 03 and the 09+

The forks are wider, the wheels are 17" instead of 16". No idea if the fenders would fit easily or not.

It was recently established by @copperaxe that forks and fender can be transplanted as long as you also transplant the triple tree/head. That may be quite a bit more than you were hoping for, however.

It's not going to be a straight swap. The fender on a pregen attaches with bolts on the inside of the fender. They're a PITA to get the fender off. It appears that the J fender just bolts on via bolts on the outside. But the triples ARE a straight swap from J to pregen.

I think a Custom bracket would let me fit a fender from the 250r,zx-14,12, and 6r..I found this thread here if yall want to take a look..It lets you put any front fender on your bike(to your liking) all you do is make a bracket as shown here..
