Front brake master cylinder piston size

Anybody know the diameter? I'm working on my 2013 300, which looks to have an identical brake system to the 12 250, and have gotten as far as the stock master/caliper will take me.

SS line, DOT 4 and HH pads, far better than stock but I need a 3 finger pull to really put some pressure on it. I'd like to get that to a 2 finger pull, or 1 if possible.

I've read the thread about the ZX6 master install and it dosen't really get into the final feel of the brakes. I've been riding alot of supermoto the past 6-7 years and know i want that level of power, just gotta find the best way to get it and I think a smaller master cylinder piston diameter will get me close.

If anyone has info on a good donor for a 4 piston caliper too please advise!

Thanks!

I'd think a larger diameter MC piston would get you a quicker bite.

I think stock Ninja 250 is either 13mm or 12.7mm. I'd guess a radial 16x18 or axial 12mm master cylinder would be what you want.

Hmmm, from what I've gleaned a smaller piston in the master or a larger piston in the caliper will accomplish this. I'm hoping to find a rider who has achived the lower effort/higher power at the lever that I want. I've had an oversized master that left my lever feeling wooden, not what I want.

I know I can use my whole hand but I'm coming off a KTM 950 SMR with full radial Brembos and my 530 with sumoto wheels and 320mm rotor and want to get a close to that as I can.

Anyone ever put a bigger rotor on a 250 with a caliper relocator? 320mm maybe?
