[RideApart] - On Any Sunday, The Next Chapter

Red Bull Media House has just released a trailer for a motorcycle film that looks to have the making of a production that will go down as one of the greats.

On Any Sunday, The Next Chapter (set to release in select theaters this fall) is a follow up to one of the greatest motorcycle films of all time. Originally released in 1971, On Any Sunday documented motorcycle racers, riders and fans featuring the likes of Steve McQueen, Malcolm Smith and Bruce Brown. This film was so well received that it was even nominated for an Academy Award in 1972 in the Best Documentary Feature category. Motorcycle enthusiasts have praised this film for decades and one of the highest regarded action sports production companies in the world is taking a crack at reviving the spirit of this epic for further generations to enjoy.

The trailer for On Any Sunday, The Next Chapter highlights clips of Marc Marquez, Roland Sands, James Stewart, Travis Pastrana and Ashley Fiolek while the full length film will feature segments with Brad Oxley, Kenny Roberts and Carlin Dunne as well (just to name a few). The amazing footage shot in 4K Ultra HD format results in some of the most beautiful motion pictures in motorcycling to date. The Red Bull Media House production company has released some incredible films in actions sports including The Art of Flight, Where the Trail Ends and Bending Colours. The group has now tackled the task of documenting the lives of a diverse range of individuals in the motorcycling community by resurrecting a classic. With Red Bull Media House’s resume and track record for producing top-quality documentary films covering action sports athletes, On Any Sunday, The Next Chapter should have no problem following up its predecessor.

On Any Sunday original, who was the little kid pulling wheelies at the beginning of the movie?
