Fuel drip from carbs, not from the drain....

Seems like it's more towards the top of the bowl. Previous owner owned the bike for 6 years and did his own carb cleaning and had just done these before I bought it a couple weeks ago. I don't know him personally, but I assume he knew what he was doing since he's done it many times before.

Any ideas as to what and where I should be looking at?

The attached pictures show where there is fuel accumulated (tip of screwdriver).

Also the fuel smell is not constant and I only notice it occasionally.

The bike runs and drives just fine.

I would say either float bowl gasket OR the connector pipe between carbs has a leaking o-ring seal.

I'll clean it up and see if I can get a better idea of where it's coming from.
