Exclamation Oil Change Failure. Help me fix this?

So I changed the oil today and bad things happened. Anyway, without going into too much detail, my "cover, 1st filter" (the part the oil drain plug goes in: part number 14092-0927) is cracked open and cannot hold oil. I will order a new one but my question is if I should also replace the "gasket, 1st filter cover" part number 11061-0341. I'm just not sure if that is something that can be put back after being taken out. Also, if anybody has any knowledge or advice from having a similar problem, any info would be much appreciated. Also, anybody know the torque specification for the bolts that hold on the cover? Thanks a lot. I just need to act fast and get this done. Here's a link showing these parts I'm talking about:

87 in lb, and I would replace the gasket but that's me. Make sure you put it on the right way(the gasket that is) its not 100% symmetrical if I remember. You can clean the oil screen while you're at it too.

I recently just cracked my oil filter cover as well. I just replaced 14092 and used the o ring I got with the new filter. Just hand tighten it to be sure you don't crack it again.
