Looks like you may have the earliest one produced in the US. I know another member has an earlier number but has not responded with a little more specifics so I can properly add her.

Yours has been updated to the list.

A021XX Engine - A125XX (ABS - BDFA)
A095XX Engine - A113XX (Non-ABS - ADF)

Note that the 95XX A model has a lower engine # than the 21XX B model.

Swapping SE bodywork, tank and wheels off the B model with a black A model. Pretty straight forward, but have to swap back rotors (ABS sensors) and gas caps (match keys).

Don't own the A model. The non-ABS 300 with it's new SE livery goes back to the dealer.

How'd you convince them to do that?

Was one his first customers 22 years ago and occasionally helped out in Parts and/or Service on Saturdays for free. Over the years, I've managed 3 race teams that bought quite a few bikes, parts and accessories from him. Still get the "employees' discount" on parts & accessories. When I buy a new bike, I just have them load the crate in to my trailer and do the A&P myself.

The "A" in EX300A denotes it as the first Ninja 300, but will stay the same next year if they don't revise the bike significantly. The "D" is the year and it falls in yearly sequence with EX250J?F. Next year's 2014 EX300 will likely be EX300AEF.

*assumption; 1991 is strangely missing on Kawasaki's website
That's why I voted for you. Nice work.

Even though it doesn't matter, I'd share my 636's but it appears I've gotten a very very very early model.
